Classes

All Things Hammered

All Things Hammered is the holloware class. If you are interested in making vessels in metal this is the class for you! The class starts at 5 PM and ends at 8 PM. The class runs for nine weeks.

Beginning Jewelry

All beginning students in this class make a simple band ring as their first project—a really good introduction to the fundamentals of jewelry making: sawing, filing, hammering, soldering, and finishing techniques. Other techniques are demonstrated while you are working on the ring, so that you are then prepared to start a project of your own design.

Other Classes

Several people have asked about the box making class and the sand casting class. I very much want to resume my old teaching schedule and start teaching these classes again. I was very sick in October of 2020 and am still having cognitive problems related to that. Currently I am only teaching at The Art League. In the past I have taught in the area at Gateway Arts Exchange and Montgomery College. If my cognitive problems get better maybe this will happen again.
